Swimming

The Jr. Olympic size swimming pool is heated year round at a comfortable 82 degrees.  An outdoor Jacuzzi is conveniently located by the pool.

Our pool has recently been re-filled with fresh water, and most importantly the benefits of a saline pool.  A saline swimming pool lacks the harmful chemicals that can cause damage to the skin, eyes, and hair.  We use a system called Eco-MATIC as an alternative to the use of "pool chlorine" and other sanitizing chemicals for pools and spas.  Pure natural salt is added, which coverts the water to beautifully healthy mild sale water.  Eco-MATIC automatically produces all of the required sanitizer and eliminate the need to ever add "pool chlorine", algaecides or "shock" chemicals, by using and recycling the dissolved slat.  The best water you'll ever experience!

Hours of Operation

To determine how quickly your child will learn to swim, you must understand the importance of duration and frequency. The most important ingredients to learning to swim are the amount of time and how often your child is in the water. For example, 2 hours one day a week is good, but 1 hour two days a week is better.

What is “Water Play”?

Children learn through play. In our experience, an hour of supervised playtime added onto a swim lesson can have the same benefit as an additional 20-minute lesson. Studies show that with enough water time, kids can develop similar skills as those with more frequent swim lessons.

Each of our “Water Play” sessions is one hour long (the last ten minutes of which is reserved for clean-up). We developed this concept as a more affordable way for families to help their children learn to be comfortable and independent in the water.
