Information and Rules

Need a match?  Call or e-mail Ronnie Nemchock at (949) 496-2070, ext. 109 or ronnie@spearmanclubs.com and have him set one up for you.  Members will be matched with other members with the same ranking for singles or doubles.  Match plays are on:

• Monday - Singles, 6:30 to 8:30pm (LNRC)

• Tuesday - Doubles, 5:30pm (TCMB - need to contact Ronnie@Spearmanclubs.com)

• Wednesday - 6:30pm to 8:30pm (LNRC)

• Friday - 3pm (LNRC)

• Saturday - 10am (LNRC)   

General Information

1. Both players bring new balls.

2. First 35 points wins one (1) case of tennis balls in each group.

3. Play-offs for all point ties.

4. 15-minute default rule is effect.

5. Challenges must take place within 7 days or default occurs and the player loses position on the ladder to the challenger.

6. Men players challenges up twice and once down, each month.

7. Women players challenges up once down, once each month winners of each group automatically move up to the next group.

8. Report all results to Ronnie Nemchock or Peter Andrews.

9. All records will be posted at LNRC and on our website at www.spearmanclubs.com

10. LNRC, etc., will provide courts once the challenge is made and encourage Tues and Thurs nights, Sat, Sun or whichever day works for both players.

Men and Women Singles Challenge Ladder Rules

Season 3:  Feb 1 - Sept. 1, 2011

1. LNRC will determine the ranking list.

2. All matches are to be played at LNRC, TCMB, and RCI.  No exceptions.

3. All matches must be logged in to the Ladder Book at the LNRC Front Desk.  No exceptions.

4. Weekly matches are encouraged.

5. Best 2 out of 3 sets (if time permits) 10 point tie breaker must be agreed to prior to the start of the match.

6. Each set winners earn 5 point tie break (3rd set tie breaker).  Winner earns 3 points.

7. Points are tallied weekly and players are responsible to enter the scores in the Ladder Book.

8. Play-offs for all point ties.

9. 15 minute default rule is in effect.

10. Challenges must take place within 10 days or default occurs and loses position on the Ladder to the challenger.

11. Winners of each group receives trophies and automatically moves up to the next group.

12. All records will be posted at LNRC.

13. LNRC/TCMB will provide courts once the challenge is made and encourages Tuesday and Thursday nights, Saturday and Sunday or whatever day works for both players.

14. Both players bring new balls.

15. All newcomers will be placed at the bottom of the ranking list by LNRC.
