Game Making Information and Rules

Need a match?  Call or e-mail Ronnie Nemchock at (949) 496-2070, ext. 109 or ronnie@spearmanclubs.com and have him set one up for you.  Members will be matched with other members with the same ranking for singles or doubles.  Singles match play are on:

• Monday - 6:30 to 8:30pm

• Wednesday - 6pm to 8pm (LNRC)

• Saturday - 10am (LNRC)   

General Information

1. Both players bring new balls.

2. First 35 points wins one (1) case of tennis balls in each group.

3. Play-offs for all point ties.

4. 15-minute default rule is effect.

5. Challenges must take place within 7 days or default occurs and the player loses position on the ladder to the challenger.

6. Men players challenges up twice and once down, each month.

7. Women players challenges up once down, once each month winners of each group automatically move up to the next group.

8. Report all results to Ronnie Nemchock or Peter Andrews.

9. All records will be posted at LNRC and on our website at www.spearmanclubs.com

10. LNRC, etc., will provide courts once the challenge is made and encourage Tues and Thurs nights, Sat, Sun or whichever day works for both players.

Men and Women Singles Challenge Ladder Rules

Season 1:  December 1, 2009 to May 15, 2009

1. 3 Challenges per month for men and are divided, 4.5 Above and 4.0 Below.

2. 2 Challenges per month for women, 4.0 Above and 3.5 Below.

3. LNRC will determine the initial ranking list.

4. All newcomers will be placed at the bottom of the ranking list by LNRC.

5. Players who do not play 9 matches during the season will be move to the bottom of the ranking list.

6. All matches are to be played at LNRC, TCMB, or RCI.  No Exceptions!

7. Weekly matches are encouraged.

8. Best 2 out of 3 sets (10 point tie breaker in lieu of 3rd set)

9. Each set winners earn 1 point.  The break (3rd set) winner earn 1/2 point.

10. Points are tallied weekly and players are responsible to call in the scores.
