Racquet Club of Irvine proudly
offers our therapeutic SALINE POOL & SPA. We’ve Switched from
Chlorine to Saline—and You’ll Love the Benefits!
RCI has recently converted its pool and spa sanitation system to The
Salt Pure® method. Members are now enjoying the swimming pool and
outdoor spa without the negative effects produced by traditional
chlorine-based water treatments—no more red eyes, itchy skin, hair
damage, or faded swimsuits! The Salt Pure® system works through a
process known as “electrolytic generation.” Once the system is
installed and the pool is dosed with salt, circulating water passes
through an in-line device containing electrolytic plates that
transform the dissolved salt into chlorine gas. Because water
passing through the electrode chamber is effectively
superchlorinated by chlorine gas, chloramines are constantly broken
down and eliminated from the system. Not only is chlorine generated
from this process but the chlorine generated then converts back to
salt to be used over and over again. Experience the clean, luxurious
therapeutic water yourself! We think you’re going to see, smell and
feel the difference!

make children feel comfortable in the water and to
prepare them to be independent with swimming.

starts and turns. We teach an easy to follow skill
progression that will help you learn how to swim
with proper stroke technique.
Monthly Price Packages
All classes are on a monthly cycle. Keep in mind,
the more you attend, the faster you learn!
To determine how quickly your child will learn to
swim, you must understand the importance of duration
and frequency. The most important ingredients to
learning to swim are the amount of time and
how often your child is in the water. For
example, 2 hours one day a week is good, but 1 hour
two days a week is better.

What is “Water Play”?
Children learn through play. In
our experience, an hour of supervised playtime added
onto a swim lesson can have the same benefit as an
additional 20-minute lesson. Studies show that with
enough water time, kids can develop similar skills
as those with more frequent swim lessons.
Each of our “Water Play”
sessions is one hour long (the last ten minutes of
which is reserved for clean-up). We developed this
concept as a more affordable way for families to
help their children learn to be comfortable and
independent in the water.
